Rail Incident Commander (RIC) Refresher

Course Description

The course is aimed at those who perform the role of Network Rail 'Rail Incident Commanders' in managing railway incidents and events in order to mitigate the risks to passengers, the workforce, the public and damage to rail infrastructure, rolling stock and the environment.   This refresher course is intended to provide learners with opportunities to develop interpersonal skills and situational awareness in order to maximise the impact of the people they will lead.  It will help develop learners skills combining the technical skills of command, control & coordination and appropriate behaviours for greater impact.

Trained and accredited Rail Incident Commanders, particularly those who regular perform the role of Rail Incident Commander (RIC).
